END OF THE YEAR.
Given the uncertainty of the COVID situation, no meetings are currently planned. Perhaps by Fall we can meet in an outdoor setting. Watch for updates as we try to plan ahead. Please be safe and join us when we can meet again.
Our Annual Spring Festival, usually held the first Saturday in May, has been cancelled, given the orders forbidding assembly of large groups of people. We look forward to our Festival again next year.

These entities gave to us while we were in the process of soliciting sponsors for the Festival before the event had to be cancelled. These donations are being used to help fund the 2020 Scholarship for an Owasso student.
2020 GARDEN CLUB SCHOLARSHIP
A portion of the proceeds from the Spring Festival goes towards this college scholarship awarded each year to an Owasso senior.
The 2020 Scholarship winner has been named in spite of the Covid-19 shutdown. Gracee Shriver was awarded this year's scholarship, and our President notified her by mail. Gracee will attend Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee in the fall, majoring in Business Music. She has become a local and national celebrity with her appearance last year on The Voice. She writes and performs her own music. Now she wants to understand the business side of her chosen career.
YARD OF THE MONTH
The members of the Garden Club may not be meeting during the pandemic, but some of our devoted ladies have been working hard and keeping the library gardens looking their best. Kudos to Jo, Teresa, Carol and Lynn for keeping up with the weeding, dead-heading and general beautification of the Owasso Library gardens.
Yard of the Month
October Yard of the Month was awarded to Kathy Smith who lives in Country Estates on 108th East Ave. Her yard is adorned with a variety of plants, flowers and ornaments; for the month of October she included festive Halloween decorations. Kathy enjoys working in her yard and creating a lively landsdcape for passersby to admire and enjoy. Her gardens include a variety of flowers, including impatiens, geraniums, Gerbera daisies and mums. Seasonal decor adds to the festive feel in her yard.
